Acutonics: A Harmonic Approach to Healthcare in the 21st Century

Acutonics® is a system of sound healing that uses precision calibrated tuning forks that are applied to specific acupoints. Specific physiological functions are associated with the internal organs and the energy of these organs is connected to gateways or acupoints on the skin, which are used to open our healing potential and correct our imbalances.

Drawing from science, music, metaphysics and from Eastern and Western traditions, the Acutonics® tuning forks represent a natural harmonic series based on the orbital properties of the Earth, Moon, Sun and the planets. Our body resonates in sympathetic reaction when the continuously vibrating forks are applied.

These tones are based on the planetary cycles. Pythagoras, the father of mathematics, labeled them The Music of the Spheres – exquisite harmonies produced as the planetary spheres rotated in the cosmos. He saw the cosmos as a lyre made of crystal spheres. It is the cosmic music that Moses heard when he received the tablets on Mt. Sinai, according to Philo of Alexandria. It is also what St. Augustine believed men hear at the point of death, and reveals the true reality of the cosmos. Pythagoras used sound therapy to teach purification of the soul and to come in union with the cosmos by studying cosmic order through The Music of the Spheres.

The Music of the Spheres is recognized for its healing power and is accessible through the Acutonic® system of education, tuning forks, sound tools and treatments.

The frequencies of The Acutonics® tuning forks are based on Johannes Kepler's 1627 discovery of the elliptical paths of the planets. Kepler calculated the velocities of all the known planets, invalidating the accepted view of circular orbits. He provided scientific evidence of the relationship between the musical ratios and the planetary motion, i.e. The Music of the Spheres. Each planetary tone has it's own healing properties. These frequencies remind us of our interconnection with all living things and it is these cosmic frequencies, when applied to the body or in the "subtle field", which move us to harmony and sonically reset negative cellular patterns to come into alignment with the cycles of nature and the cosmos.

The frequencies also reach between the cracks and into our physical and emotional blocks. Sound can relieve debilitating patterns and has been used effectively for such things as stress, pain, depression, fibromyalgia, anxiety, infertility, migraines, tendonitis and menopausal symptoms, and to move us to wholeness by helping us remember who we truly are. Patients report a variety of sensations during treatments, including seeing geometric shapes, colors, answers to confusing aspects of their lives, relief from inharmonious patterns and an overall sense of well-being. Imbalance and disease result when the body, which is a hologram, is in a state of disharmony. Harmony is a sacred balance of the soma, psyche and soul with nature.

Edgar Cayce said that sound would be the medicine of the future. Acutonics® is currently being integrated into many fields, including nursing, bodywork, music therapy, veterinary medicine and chiropractic care. The future is now!
