In 1924 Gurdjieff and his pupil, composer Thomas de Hartmann, began a collaboration which roduced a remarkable body of music, only now becoming known in wider musical circles. These compositions range from the sacred hymns, to lighthearted evocations of folk songs. Laurence Rosenthal is an awardwinning composer of music for film, stage and television. He has been associated with the Gurdjieff-de Hartmann music for decades and has performed it in public concerts around the world.
