Step 6: Celebrate the Reunion of the Masculine and Feminine

Masculine and feminine energy complements each other. But in our society, the roles of men and women are unbalanced with men holding power and dominance over women. The balance of power has changed since the early 1900s as women have emerged as leaders, but it takes more than equality in the home and workplace to heal the masculine and feminine divide. It calls for a conscious reunion of the qualities of both energies.
During the past year, we have been on a journey with the editor to create a new way of living in balance rather than in power over others. Balance is the final stream of divine feminine energy that has been emerging in the world since the beginning of the 20th century. This final energy completes the four pillars of the divine feminine way: compassion, nurturing, strength and balance.
Returning to balance takes six simple steps: 1) Open to the balanced heart. 2) Affirm your commitment to peace. 3) Remember the inner warrior. 4) Create a new personal balance paradigm. 5) Practice the way of compassion, and 6) Celebrate the reunion of the masculine and feminine.
What is feminine energy? It is the powerful energy of creation, the flow of life and death through one being. Each woman holds seeds for life and a tiny oven to create life on Earth. Creational energy contains many elements, but most importantly it is filled with abundance. The divine feminine is about restoration, growth, giving life and protecting what’s yours. It is true authentic strength.
What is masculine energy? Men too hold seeds for creating a new life, but they do not have the means to grow life within them. While women hold the internal strength of creation, men create outward manifestation through their actions. Authentic masculine energy is about equal power, which is a code of living based on using power to protect, nurture and innovate new ways to live in equality.
So the feminine is internal creation and the masculine is external powerful action. Men and women need each other to have balanced creation in the world. In the reunion of the divine feminine and masculine, men are powerful tools, directed by the internal guidance of women. The voice of the feminine is like a beacon of truth, guiding right action among the powerful masculine movers and shakers.
Our world is fractured because women have not played their role as internally guided leaders, setting a higher policy for men to enact. It is time for women to step into their creative power and for men to find a new way to express power that promotes equality among all people.
How can you make this reunion of the masculine and feminine happen? Start at the personal level with your daily interactions. Women can take a moment in the morning to tap into your inner wisdom to guide you for the day. Ask yourself, What would love have me do here? Then honestly and clearly share your wisdom with the people in your life. Let your internal compass be your guide for genuine interaction with others.
For men, practice opening your heart to the ideas of others. Become an active listener, searching for new ideas and ways to enact your plans at home, at work and in your community. Let the following mantra be your guide: I am open to love and actions that serve all in the highest and best way. Become a man of compassionate action.
In this new world of balance, connection to the self and others is valued more than power over others. Seeing both sides, listening with an open heart, and coming to a resolution that meets the needs of all parties is the new way of doing business in personal and professional relationships. Returning to balance means loving all parts of the whole.
