The Legend of the Crystal Skulls

Ancient prophecies foretell how crystalline objects will assist planet Earth in becoming a world of peace. Could these indigenous legends be about crystal skulls?
As a crystal skull explorer for the last 28 years, I have investigated the mystery around these crystalline carvings, which are human-shaped skulls made out of different types of quartz crystals and other gemstones. Many of the early crystal skulls were initially found in the 1800s in Mexico within or near ancient tombs. Today however, skulls have been uncovered worldwide, including China, Mongolia, Peru, Australia and throughout Europe.
My crystal skull fascination began in 1983 with a chance encounter with an amethyst crystal skull while traveling through San Jose, Calif. A friend shared a photo of an ancient amethyst skull she had personally seen, and my life was forever changed. It awakened an inner knowing that these crystal skulls carved by ancient cultures are one of the most powerful tools emerging to assist in the spiritual transformation of our world. A few days later, I saw this crystal skull with my own eyes and I became a real-life explorer.
The Mitchell-Hedges crystal skull, one of the most famous carvings, was discovered in 1924 in the
Central American country of Belize in the city of Lubaantun, which is a buried Mayan city known as the City of Fallen Stones. This human-sized quartz skull is an almost exact replica of the human bone skull, including fantastic detail in the carving of the eyes, the nose and the teeth.
The Mitchell-Hedges skull is comprised of two pieces — the upper part of the skull and a separate lower jaw. Modern archeologists have debated whether the skull was fashioned by advanced crystal carvers in the 1800s (like the master carvers in Idar-Oberstein in Germany) or if it was made by Mesoamerican carvers.
Many theories abound about the perfectly crafted skull, and some spiritualists and paranormal researchers believe the Mitchell-Hedges skull is much older than reported and could have originated from the time of Atlantis.
Miraculous healings have occurred in the presence of this well-known crystal skull, including the healing of physical ailments or illnesses, and an expansion in spiritual and creative gifts. I’ll never forget the experience I had with the Mitchell-Hedges skull in 2008. I brought three of my own crystal skulls to sit with the Mitchell-Hedges skull. I placed a 10-pound (almost human-sized) Brazilian smoky quartz skull face-to-face with the Mitchell-Hedges skull. Behind the legendary skull, I then placed a two-pound dark smoky quartz skull and a one-pound rose quartz skull, forming a perfect triangle.
I sat in a meditative position facing the skulls. I sensed in my mind’s eye a very powerful being or consciousness floating to the right of the Mitchell-Hedges skull. I was then blessed with the sharing of wisdom by this universal consciousness, and I continue to feel its heart-opening and protective power today.
Newly crafted modern crystal skulls also hold great healing power. My 10-pound Brazilian smoky quartz skull is known as “Portal de Luz” or Portal of Light. In 2003, Portal was tested by researchers in Belgium using a Lecher antenna, which is normally used to measure the energy that emanates from the body's organs, skeletal structure as well as the energy fields surrounding the physical body.
The researchers tested Portal to see what energies were being broadcast from this crystalline structure. They discovered that the skull was emanating the frequencies of the five human senses. They were astounded by the results, so they conducted the test two more times and got the same outcome.
Is there a living consciousness that works through the crystal skulls? Researchers moved Portal outside to a location where the skull seemed “happy” on the ground. Using readings on the Lecher antenna, the researchers discovered a new energy ley line that did not appear in pretest measurements.
What do these amazing experiences tell us about the crystal skulls? They may be linked to a living intelligence that can communicate with us telepathically or through a spiritually based connection. This crystalline energy can also heal people or affect other powerful inner transformations. And as prophecies predict, crystal skulls may be an ancient sacred tool returning to help humanity create a world of peace.
