Messages from the Angel Lady

by Connie Hill

Carol May, author of Working with Angels in Everyday Life, is known as the Angel Lady by many of her students and clients. She'll help you connect with your personal angels to make change happen when nothing else seems to work.

Q. How did you get started talking to angels?

A. At age five I went to a funeral. I saw the man's soul beside the casket with three extraordinary angels beside him. They were radiating so much light. I remember thinking, "How interesting to watch a person turn into an angel." Nobody else saw it except me.

Q. What is the importance of angels in our lives?

A. The angels want us to know we're not alone. They want us to know they don't care if we believe in them or not, or if we're a certain religion. They want us to know we are loved.

Q. How can angels help us grow?

A. My 25-year-old niece lost her children and husband in a drowning accident. My family is opposite from me in philosophy, and I could not help them. The angels asked me to write about it and the most amazing, cathartic, incredible information about what you can learn from tragedy came out. It was truly amazing. You become more responsive and responsible and can handle more.

Many people hold God, Jesus or various angels responsible for problems. These people want miracles, and though miracles happen, we have to talk about what is real. In a section of my book, I talk about pain and homelessness. I say lots of things are not seen by spirit as the horrible things we see them as. There's no judgment, these experiences just help us learn and grow.

I have a friend who says, "Why does it always happen to me?" I say, "Who else would it be?" You came down to lead the way, so get out there and lead. It comes forward breath by breath. You have to make your choices over and over again.
