Find Your Soul Mate

Somewhere, your soul mate exists. What's taking him or her so long to show up? Here are some spells to hurry up the process.

Ace of Hearts Love Spell

If you could make a person emerge from your dreams, who would it be?

  1. From a deck of tarot cards, choose the knight, queen or king who best exemplifies your ideal. (If another card suits you better - the magician, let's say, or the empress - then use that one instead.)
  2. Choose a figure candle (male or female) to represent your soul mate.
  3. Dress the candle with essential oils of cinnamon and orange, fragrances sacred to Oshun, the Supreme Queen of Hearts.
  4. Place the candle and a hand mirror before the upturned card.
  5. On a piece of paper, list all the qualifications you require of your dream lover and your dream relationship, and anoint the corners of the page with the essential oils.
  6. Place the paper beneath the candle.
  7. Burn that candle, requesting that your true love find the path to your door as soon as possible. While the candle burns, spend some time gazing into the mirror, affirming that you deserve and are ready to receive what you wrote on the paper.

La Madama's Dream Powder

This classic formula allegedly turns romantic dreams into loving reality. Spicy and fragrant, there's no need to retire it once true love has arrived. This formula is also known as Dreams of Delight Powder: simmer some with red wine and serve it as an aphrodisiac instead. Until that day, however, use it to attract true love:

  1. Grind cardamom, cinnamon, coriander and licorice root together, creating as fine a powder as possible.
  2. Sprinkle the powder on charcoal and burn as incense.
  3. Inhale the fumes and allow the scent to permeate your hair and clothes.
