Got Angels?

by Jayne Howard Feldman

Got angels?

God gives us an abundance of gifts. Having communed with the angels for 45 years, I am extremely grateful for the gift of angels and the divine service that they fulfill in our lives.

We all have angels watching over us as part of God's plan for our lives. It is the angels' God-assignment to keep us on our spiritual paths. A person once said to me, "I think my angel has quit." I reassured my friend by saying, "Not possible. They don't work for you."

Here are ways to open your heart and your mind to the angelic kingdom:

The first step is to believe in angels. When you choose to believe in the angels, you are tapping into a dimension of yourself that transcends the human experience. As the author Joan Wester Anderson wrote, "If you believe in angels, no explanation is necessary. If you don't believe, no explanation is possible."

I believe the angels are God's cosmic cheerleaders and they are in our lives rooting for us to have a close relationship with God. I believe they watch over us to inspire us to know ourselves as children of God and accept all of the amazing creative God-gifts that are inside each of us. We are blessed to be blessings on Earth.

Additionally, we have the opportunity to be cheerleaders to each other and through our words, emails, telephone calls, and cards to let others know that we believe in them and the good job they are doing. In short, God is rooting for you to experience and embrace your eternal essence and choose to move yourself closer to God in consciousness. The angels are rooting for you. Root for yourself and others.

The angels inspire us to place ourselves in God space and live our lives at God's pace. In the next week, allow yourself to be open to any experiences that convey divine intervention energy. When you start looking for God signatures, you start seeing with light sight.

You may sense a heightened presence around you - a feeling that you are not alone. This is God being God, sending the angels to bless you with the energy of support. You may become aware of a fragrance in the room from an unknown source. When we open to the consciousness that we have an angel team around us, we open ourselves to a subtle sensitivity that makes us aware of smells, sensations, signs and signatures of God.

When you open up to the reality of angels, you begin moving your consciousness closer to parts and essences of yourself that are invisible and yearning to become visible.
