From NCX to NCR - Au Revoir from Miriam Knight

Miriam Knight

Dear Friends - As I take my leave from my role as publisher of New Connexion to move to my next challenge, New Consciousness Review, I would like to thank you and all our wonderful staff, contributors and advertisers for helping make New Connexion one of the best holistic papers in the country. I have now passed the baton to Vicky Thompson, who, since she came on board as editor, has infused the paper with her own style and energy. I can now turn to my new venture, confident that the paper is in good hands.

The website for New Consciousness Review was just launched at www.ncreview.com. This is an online review magazine covering the best of conscious books, movies, blogs, music and other media, as well as positive news from around the web. More and more people are realizing that the depressing worldview presented constantly through conventional media is not the whole picture, and seeking independent sources of information. The Internet and other independent media have become the main channels for spreading transformational ideas, creating networks and inspiring positive change. The good news is that a new awakening of consciousness is happening everywhere. To support this trend, NC Review is taking on the role of infomediary, sifting through the mass of information out there, and bringing the best and most positive of it to greater public awareness.

I invite you to vist ncreview.com for our daily updates, or you can subscribe to our newsletter of highlights of the week. Click on NC Radio for great listening of uplifting music and new releases. It has been playing on the New Connexion site for several months, already received great reviews, and is now on iTunes. NC Radio, plus the NC Bestseller List, will be rolled out to our syndicate of other top holistic publications around the country in the coming months.

This is truly a time for people of goodwill to recognize their numbers and their strength, and demand the changes their spirits are thirsting for. We can change the world. Indeed we must, if we are to leave a world of hope and possibility to succeeding generations, rather than one of fear, destruction and division.

It has been a privilege serving this community for the the past seven years, and I hope we will remain connected as this new endeavor serves the geater community. Please join me in building this new consciousness network and email me with tips of books, news and other media that have made a difference for you at miriam@ncreview.com.

May your light shine brightly and bless those around you.
Love,
Miriam
