We Were Vikings Then and Now
There's something about the Vikings that draws our attention. The ancient Skaldic writings tell of heroic deeds, of pride, honor and valor. They were the first people to visit four continents of the globe — explorers and traders first, courageous warriors second. They had a sound spiritual philosophy known as the Elder Northern tradition which includes the runes as a means of explaining the mysteries of the cosmos.
The runes, historically aged at 2,500 years, are a set of 24 angular symbols making up the Enchanted Alphabet of the North. Since time immemorial symbols have been used to help comprehend abstract qualities of the creative life force.
The runes are known to trigger archetypal awareness within your mind to provide you knowledge of invisible, transpersonal energy fields. The Northern runes also help you assimilate beneficial Earth energies, which bring you additional empowerment.
The Denali Institute of Northern Traditions is a leading educational institute for teaching ancient runes and Northern traditions to modern thinkers.
