Ghost Busting at the Reiki Ranch

Russ Mullins walked across the classroom to stand in front of the wood stove to warm his hands. It was a cool winter day and the Reiki Ranch had a fire to take the chill off the room. Russ had been feeling cold ever since we invited the two ghosts into the class.

"It's sure a cold spot right here. It's a least three feet in diameter,” he noted about the space in front of the stove. We took turns standing in the cold spot, before we determined that a ghost was standing in front of the fire.

Shows such as Ghost Whisperer and Medium have made ghost busting a hot topic. It’s an exciting profession where clients will fly you all over the world to clear homes and properties. Muscle testing is the best tool for instantly communicating with ghosts about why they are stuck on the Earth plane. The next step is to heal the ghosts so they can be escorted by their angels to a higher level.

Ask the Ghost

Students at the Reiki Ranch work with ghosts to help them continue on their eternal journeys. Using a detailed questionnaire, students gather information for an energy release of the disincarnate being.

  1. Will you talk to us (using muscle testing)?
  2. Do you know that your physical body is dead? (They are without a physical body, but very much conscious. They are in a lighter body, such as the astral body.)
  3. How did your body die (accident, old age, illness, murdered)?
  4. Were you male or female in your lifetime?
  5. How old were you when your body died?
  6. How many years have you been hanging around the physical world?
  7. Did you die near the Reiki School? How far away were you?

The object of the ghost busting class was to gather information about the disincarnate beings, heal them of energy blockages, and have them escorted to heaven or wherever they needed to go. We do not just cast out ghosts like other ghost busters do. Our students are trained on how to help the ghosts change frequency – they may be stuck in a certain frequency and can't progress to their next highest potential.

Our Laser Reiki students learn how to check the vibrational frequency of a person who is sick. We’ve found that a person who is sick is suffering — not only from aches and pains, but also from a low connection to Source energy. Energy healing raises low vibrational frequencies so the body can heal itself, or help a departed soul to move on.

To learn ghost busting, you need ghosts. A few weeks before class, I contacted two ghosts that were within 20 miles of the Reiki Ranch, which is located in Chehalis, Wash. They showed up right on time for the workshop, ready to work with us and be released.

I divided the class up into two teams to work with each ghost. Before we could heal the ghosts, we needed to get some information. Some ghosts do not know that they are dead. They just notice that people no longer talk to them. Others know they are dead but for some reason they do not leave the third dimension. They may fear being punished. They might not want to leave loved ones or their homes. They may even be stuck or might not know how to move beyond the physical realm.

The students investigated why their invited ghost had died, and then helped them finish crossing over.

After Life Stories

Team One worked with a small family of ghosts: a 30-year-old male ghost and his 8-year-old daughter who had been in an automobile accident four years ago. The accident happened nine miles away from Reiki Ranch on State Hwy. 6 toward Pe Ell. The father and daughter ghosts had been hanging around the physical world because the rest of the family needed them and would not let them go.

Meanwhile the daughter had picked up a pet cat ghost. Energy healings were performed on the mental, emotional and astral levels so they could release the trauma, anxiety and tension of the accident. The male ghost was assured that he could come back to the physical realm to check on his family when necessary. After that all three were ready to go. They were escorted to Nirvana by five angels.

Team Two met a 43-year-old male ghost who was killed in 1874 by his jealous wife. In a fit of rage, she stabbed him in the chest with a kitchen knife because he came home a day late. He needed quite a bit of emotional healing because he felt his death was so unfair. He was frustrated by being wrongly accused of an affair. He was coming home from Chehalis when a snowstorm struck. It was an all day trip with horse and wagon in those days. He sought shelter at another farmhouse about half way home. The ghost said he couldn’t leave Earth because he didn’t know how. After intense energy healing work, he was ready to go.
