Letter to the Editor
What God Really Wants
God does speak to us. Usually it's a matter of
discerning God's voice from the ego's reflections. Sometimes though, God's
words are very clear.
I was very disciplined when I first started my
spiritual journey of self discovery. However after some time I lost my
disciplined practice and I felt I wasn't doing enough. I prayed about it,
telling God that I had no discipline to give. It was a heartfelt prayer and I
cried.
Exactly 24 hours later I was standing at the
place I had prayed and a voice spoke within me: James, I need not your discipline but your love. For you to love me,
and know me as all and love all as me.
I knew that this was God's will and I have
tried to grow into the love in these few simple words.
