High activity and stressful intensity were highlighted early in the New Year. The signs Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, and Aquarius were pulling in separate directions making you feel as though you were being drawn and quartered. The esoteric purpose of that seemingly discordant energy was to shake up behavior patterns that had become too fixed. Basic metaphysics teaches that it is both natural and necessary to push you out of your comfortable rut before introducing a new frequency of energetic vibration.
Spring eclipses serve as a transition to bring forth these new energies. The Aries Solar Eclipse on March 29th completes a 1½-year cycle that announced itself during the devastating tsunami in Sumatra. This is the last of the Aries and Libra eclipses until after the end of the Mayan calendar. The Aries-Libra sectors of your natal chart and life have been realigned. Libra represents the drive for right relationship and a balanced life. The opposite sign of Aries courageously pioneers an independent new path. And, they both want what they want at the same time.
During the three months before and after this extra-powerful new moon, you are catalyzed to take action on this new balance between relationship and individuality needs. This is not limited to your love life but to all types of relationships including self, business and family. If you haven’t released old beliefs, behaviors, people, and/or situations that no longer serve your highest good, then do it now. A major energy shift is quietly coming in on the coattails of the March 14th Lunar Eclipse.
Lunar eclipses are full moons that have an amplified emotional impact. March’s full moon begins a Virgo-Pisces emphasis that has not been around since the spring of 1998. The next issue of New Connexion will provide more information on the next 1½-years Virgo-Pisces energy in your life. For now, March provides a preview during the Virgo full moon. This goddess energy represents purification and simplification. You are called to get focused on your spiritual vision. By releasing that which is no longer yours to do, you have more power to invest energy on your highest vision. On a worldly level, it is time to reduce clutter and inefficiency. There is little doubt that this will be the year of garage sales. Just get rid of more than you bring home!
All in all, this spring serves as a transitional time that provides a peek into your next area of life service. For a hint on where you can simplify your life to prepare for the coming shift, read your Sun Sign and Rising Sign:
Aries: The incoming cycle is uncomfortable for the sign of the ram. Diligent and ongoing work/ healing aren’t a lot of fun for passionate Aries, but it can produce abundantly in the next 1½-years.
Taurus: Find productive ways to play such as creative projects that can produce income on the side. Romance provides great possibilities if you release expectations about a projected outcome.
Gemini: Get out the paper shredder to cleanse home and office. Take those books you don’t need down to the used book store. It is time to open your physical space to give you room to breathe.
Cancer: Although easier said than done, the incoming cycle advises you to get out of your emotions and into your intellect. Meet new people, take/teach classes, and explore places/activities that are beyond your comfort zone.
Leo: Tend to issues of finance, property, and other material aspects of life that are slowing you down. Remodel or release items such as real estate to improve value.
Virgo: You are number one in the incoming cycle, so be a little selfish. Put yourself ahead of the list of everyone else’s priorities for you.
Libra: Purify your inner psychological being through retreats and meditation. Your outer world will be more powerful if you begin within.
Scorpio: Privacy is a scorpionic trait that will not serve you well in the incoming cycle. It is time to get out and shake hands at those uncomfortable public events. Consider volunteering for a board service position with a group that interests you.
Sagittarius: A career change may be up in the next 1½-years, or at least a willingness to stop doing that which you no longer wish to do. Repeat after me: “No.”
Capricorn: Forget your pragmatic side and buy a treasure map. It is time for a frivolous journey to your personal Shangri La.
Aquarius: Independent Aquarius gets tied to other people in this new cycle. The benefit of this uncomfortable situation is that more can be accomplished. Remember, others can be right too.
Pisces: Your incoming lessons are in committed relationships. See both yourself and others as you really are. Fulfillment comes through the imperfections in each other.
