The Energy of 2006

For all signs: Fasten your seat belts! Whether using Western or Chinese astrology, the year 2006 is expected to be a dynamic year of needed change. In the Chinese System this is the year of the Dog and the Element of Fire, a year of contrasts. The last year of this combination was 1946, post WWII. The Dog is generally considered peaceful, capable of working well with others, but the fire could bring some natural earth changes, such as earthquakes and possibly volcanic eruptions. This contrast will also occur on a personal symbolic level. Fire can stimulate quests for new spiritual explanations and Dog, a new level of empathy and understanding of the shared needs of all people.

This Chinese prediction is also supported in Western astrology. This New Year begins in the midst of an antagonistic tension pattern between powerful slow moving outer planets (teachers of humanity). Variations of this pattern will continue throughout all of 2006. This energy will manifest as a polarity between spiritual passion and rational mind. Personal truth and self/family responsibility may clash with dogmatic spiritual "truths" of other "communities". This polarity energy can also surface as reality versus fantasy with a demand for maturity. People will be facing the disappointment of lost dreams of love, wealth, fame, or the illusion of being "exclusively right". The challenge of the year is change and growth. If the lessons are resisted change is forced and may feel like catastrophic destruction; if the lessons are welcomed and learned, the energy of the year can bring understanding, empathy, and peace.

During January and February much of the potential of this year will be in a hidden gestating period. Challenges for the year may begin to show as internal rumblings and disagreements with the beliefs and practices in your social and religious groups and among personal friends. It may also show with a growing discontent in your personal satisfaction from your current career. The additional personal issues for each sign are:

Aries (March 21 - April 20) This year will provide opportunities for new ways to earn an income and a new sense of personal values. Work and play become synonymous, but both will require serious effort.

Taurus (April 21 - May 20) This may be a difficult year for Taurus as you find yourself in position of not being able to have any expectations of others for financial, emotional, or physical assistance. You may have to face your own shadow to understand why.

Gemini (May 21 - June 21)  This will be a dynamic, transformative year as you learn to get in touch with the power of your own words through those of others. Relationships will be key to personal change.

Cancer  (June 22 - July 22)  This year will challenge you to look at your communication style and examine situations from a practical, rather than your emotional, view point.

Leo (July 23 - August 22)  Day to day life may bring about so much need for adjustment that it could affect your health. Others will push you until you finally claim your own power and voluntarily demand and actively create change.

Virgo (August 23 - September 22) This can be an awakening year with potential for healing and growth with less pain than many other signs. Your skills as a teacher to guide others in helping themselves may be in great demand.

Libra (September 23 - October 23) This may seem a year of many adjustments to new routines involving others but it is dawning a more creative personal period for you as an individual.

Scorpio (October 24 - November 22) You will continue another year of personal growth that demands much effort on your part to create what you see as a long range goal. You are on a two year plan with Jan. 2008 a turning point when the fruits of your effort will start paying off to the level of your desires.

Sagittarius (November 23 - December 21) Much of the help and success you are seeking will continue to go on behind the scenes and begin to become visible at the end of 2006. Writing and gathering information will be healing throughout this year.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 20) This year will require adjustment to two sides of your nature. Joy can be found in writing and awakening yourself and others to new spiritual viewpoints. Another side may be involved in creative financial solutions for yourself and others.

Aquarius (January 21 - February 18) This year has a potential of issues related to your finances and personal values, especially concerning other people. Be in a holding pattern until after your birthday and continue to carefully observe the actions, above the words, of others throughout the year.

Pisces (February 19 - March 20) Many Piscean types have a focus on the year 2012, when among other changes their ruling planet finally moves into Pisces and their visions may be more in alignment with the world. Until then much is going on behind the scenes; the main 2006 focus for Pisces is using the Jupiter in Scorpio energy as shamanic teachers, creating a vision of empathy and peaceful co-existence between all people.

The Epic Drama of Earth’S Ascension: The entire cosmos has entered the unknown and no one can predict exactly. But to understand how the future may unfold, we must first briefly summarize what has already happened in 2005.

Sayings had long filtered through to the prophets of our earth about the earth being "the bride leading the bridal procession home" and of its being a "wayshower" within the cosmos and a microcosm of the macrocosm. No one knew, however, just how large a role it was really destined to play - not even the seven lords in the Halls of Amenti; our planetary lords residing in an etheric temple within the earth.

At the end of January 2005, everything we had received as prophecy took a dramatic turn into a whole new future unexpected by the masters of the earth. The earth not only entered its own ascension process by starting to move into higher realms, but started to pull the cosmos with it.

During the first week in February the planet "hooked up" to 12 surrounding star-systems and a new ley line formed around the equator. The fairy realms that had been separated, one below and one above our realm, were united and the elf kingdom with them. The veil between the lower and higher spirit worlds was removed as was later the veil between the spirit realms and the ascended masters. This meant that spirits were henceforth able to ascend without incarnating.

As all kingdoms moved upward and blended into our upper realms (previously the domain of our 200,000 dragons), the earth started to do what many waves of civilizations had done in their process of ascension; it started to move through the sun - known as the realms of Arulu - keeping the illusion that we are still in our original place in space. But because of the stargrid, star-systems started moving with us and a cosmic ascension began.

As we moved back on the journey from where all life began, slowly but surely all that is not enhancing of indwelling life has been falling away. Hostile alien races responsible for abductions, the fomenting of conflict and attempts to control humanity have ceased to exist. Black sorcerers, demons, our underworld (as well as the cosmic underworld) no longer exist and Lucifer’s hosts - by June only 600 of them had survived - lost their density entirely. All beings remaining received their feeling bodies.

It had been foreseen that as we ascended we would move out of the large electro-magnetic band occupied by manifested life into a null zone. This would have caused major geological catastrophes to all planets. Then the Mother of all Creation came to earth and was crowned in the Halls of Amenti. The gods followed from the realms of the Infinite and in the first week of September 2005 the golden city of the New Jerusalem formed in the etheric above the area of Maui. It is 82 times larger than the size given in the last chapter of Revelations.

It is really only humanity that has not yet allowed itself to see that the doomsday prophecies have given way to a time of great rejoicing. In the past growth has come through pain; it shall now come through support. Some possible exciting prophecies for 2006 include:

• The entering into physicality of the New Jerusalem and the installation of the sacred government under the goddess of Creation called The Emanuela.
• Thoth will embody.
• The emergence of 600 Atlantaean speaking people from the inner earth.
• A new global financial system that ends poverty.
• Deserts becoming green with foliage, beginning next year. At least one Middle East country began aforestation years ago and is now experiencing measurable climate change.
• A much higher level of consciousness for all, including for all spirits wishing to incarnate.
• New stars appearing in the sky.

There is every hope for a future of light and we can help bring it in by allowing ourselves to anticipate it with gratitude and joy.

Stepping Into Your Cosmic Self in 2006
Aligning with Your Galactic Presence

An old curse wishes that you may live in interesting times. 2006 will be interesting, but hopefully not from the perspective of that old curse. Something larger is going on, but not everyone will be ready to consciously tune into these Universal frequencies.

The New Year holds all the usual challenges of earthquakes, political upheavals, and emotionally-charged events. It is strangely humorous that these scary scenarios are becoming commonplace as part of normal conversations. Yet these same events drive people to a higher life perspective.

Maverick and wounded healer Chiron moved into Aquarius last December, and will stay there until 2011. Caught between worlds, this half-human, half-horse centaur stimulates you to take another step forward into the coming Age of Aquarius. Most astrologers agree that we are still on the tumultuous cusp of this new 2000 year cycle. (One simply needs to look at the powerful grip that Age of Pisces religions still hold in political arenas to verify this).

The USA’s moon sign is Aquarius. In the birth chart of a country, the moon represents the people. During the next five-years, this immortal god who was mortally wounded will shine light on the suffering of humanity. Poverty, healing needs, and compassion are amplified.

On a personal level, Chiron offers assistance this year in creating innovative solutions to help you relieve your suffering. However, you must be willing to step forward knowing that you are on a wobbly suspension bridge between the world that no longer works and the world that still exists mostly in your mind’s eye. Yet, forward you must go, taking a leap of faith into that illusive better life.

Now that you are taking Chiron’s leap of faith into the still-forming Age of Aquarius, get ready for an even larger leap of consciousness! You are really going to have to fine tune your inner knowing to ride this wild horse. A major alignment with the center of the Milky Way Galaxy begins this March-May.

Death & rebirth Pluto and two stars in the Orion constellation are aligning with the Milky Way’s Galactic Center for the next 1 ½ years. On some cosmic level, you must release the small-thinking part of your brain to open to unlimited possibilities.

Surrender the nagging voice of your personality ego. Your level of service in this life is being transformed beyond the worldly desires for the next car, relationship, or job change.

Although no one can really say what this alignment with Galactic Center will bring, the location at approximately 27 degrees Sagittarius in your natal chart may provide a hint about where this alignment will affect your life. Read your Sun Sign and Rising Sign:

Aries: Following your individualistic path can only take you so far. Bring out your wise mentor this year to help others along their path.

Taurus: Emotions are up for you this year, so you might as well jump in to the swamp of your subconscious. Those alligators are not as big and scary as you currently think!

Gemini: Manifest higher ideals in relationships rather than attempting to partner using the outdated beliefs and behaviors of society.

Cancer: Magnetically alter your healing abilities to take you beyond caretaker of family and individuals. Move towards healer of humanity.

Leo: Share your warmth and leadership with those who are younger than you, be it in age or spiritual evolution. You are not off the wheel of incarnation yet.

Virgo: Let go of that long list of things you have to do and tend to your own emotional needs and security this year. Enhance self-esteem.

Libra: Spiritual astrology suggests that Libra brings the revolution of the new age. Communicate higher ideals to bring society into a higher balance.

Scorpio: You must find inner harmony in spite of outer world conflict, and you must do it in the material world this year. Improve your prosperity consciousness.

Sagittarius: The priest/priestess within must come out this year. So what if you are burned at the stake!

Capricorn: Forget all that serious structure. Spiritual Capricorn initiates society into a higher order of spiritual dimension. Allow that dry humor to come out.

Aquarius: Come out of that detached mental state and get involved, and do so with an open hearted commitment to the good of the group.

Pisces: Go public with your compassionate and intuitive vision this year. Be clear and focused on what you say before you step into high visibility to say it, but you must speak up this year.

Self Healing- Health crises will be an opening to drastic changes of living and nutrition for those who choose to stay, though many may choose to "go". Let us seek within ourselves the solution to what remains unbalanced with the "harmony" of all that is, and no longer "react" to what has been but use it as fuel for what will be. Choose mindfully! You are a light energy being – ignite!!

Earth Changes – Water being a major energy conduit, will continue to flow in conjunction with the "mass consciousness" as clearing continues and the balance of earth's center returns. It is the opportunity to join in unity the process of letting go. As human beings flee the "affected" areas, earth will reconstruct. A renewed sense of place will arise as individuals are literally pushed to move elsewhere, and new connections are made through compassion and assistance. How the earth continues to participate in unity even in cleansing!

Government– We continue to see the manipulation of power as those appointed in positions are in a continual search to be "important". Many crumble under their own illusions of "guaranteed" safety. Is it as you desire and if not, why have you given into living half of who you are? We must take our power back.

Abundance and Lack– Many in "Hollywood" have taken on the task of focusing attention on areas of extreme need to provide the rest of us a chance to "give" more of ourselves as we face our own fears of loss and displacement. The coming year will offer a more balanced degree of "sharing," as feelings of "not enough" within ourselves are influenced by opportunities to be enough for others, and therefore ourselves!!

Are you a part of? Or separate from? Choice dictates the outcome of energetic manifestation. Pay attention to your daily dialogue – what is it supporting? How does your life reflect it? During very nearly all of 2006 the intermediary or social planets, Jupiter and Saturn, will be in fixed signs and in a square or tension producing aspect to each other. The term intermediary refers to their place among the planetary energies, which is between the personal planets: Mercury, Venus, Mars and the transpersonal or evolutionary Planets: Uranus, Neptune, Pluto. Personal Planets represent energies conditioned by our personal, individual histories. Evolutionary Planets represent energies that move us beyond our individual lives and connect us to currents that in one way or another invite or compel us beyond individual concerns or boundaries.

These intermediary energies mediate and facilitate our synthesis of the personal with the evolutionary. Jupiter represents largesse, benevolence, inclusivity – anything broad and generous. Saturn represents limitation, testing, caution – anything clearly defined and stuctured. You might say that Jupiter is law - in the sense of belief, philosophy - how we explain our humanity and our world. Saturn is order - beliefs are codified and given authority. Separate but working together, Jupiter and Saturn create a fabric of interaction and interrelatedness.

But here we are in 2006 and there is a rub or warp in the web of our relatedness. And as I mentioned at the beginning the signs involved are fixed, as in determined and inflexible - Jupiter in the sign Scorpio and Saturn in the sign Leo. How might this manifest?

A broad interdependence of values and resources (money) and a limitation of individual glory. People in debt and experiencing a lack of confidence. Lottery coffers expand as people strive for their place in the Sun. Leaders and anyone who is royalty or who thinks of themselves as royalty needs to proceed with caution in 2006, especially regarding joint funds. Congressional scandals stemming from misuse of others’ resources. Certainly we are talking money here, but also how a sense of entitlement allowed leaders to not show benevolence toward others’ values. 2006 will bring the question of values front and center.
