The ONE Campaign

ONE is a new effort by Americans to rally Americans - ONE by ONE - to fight the emergency of global AIDS and extreme poverty. "Some things just plain need doin'!" And that is what The ONE Campaign is all about - doing the things that need be done because they are the right things to do.

We are all part of the human family and we should be about doing what all good families do - caring for our less fortunate brothers and sisters. We can be the change! Together, we can build a better, safer world.

Show Your Support for the Campaign with a White Band, the official symbol of The ONE Campaign and its global partner, the Global Call to Action Against Poverty. It's a flexible rubber band emblazoned with the word "ONE" and worn around the wrist.

Portland-area residents can pick up a free white band and sign The ONE Campaign declaration between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at Mercy Corps' offices at 3015 SW First Avenue in Portland. Or you can go to the ONE website, www.one.org, and sign the ONE Declaration, and order the bands online from The One Campaign.
