Services at the Oregon Convention Center. A Meditation begins at 10:00
AM lasting till 10:15, and the Celebration Service begins at 10:30.
A lively Music Program includes Joanna Burns-Miller, Linda Trotta &
Friends, and the Friends Gospel Chorus as well as a variety of well-known
regional guest artists. More information is available at the website:
www.pcsa.us. Because
of the significant growth since the arrival of Reverend Lynn Johnson
in 2002 the Portland Convention Center is serving as an "interim"
home until the purchase of a new building.
Portland Center for Spiritual Awareness is part of the world-wide "New
Thought" movement and belongs to the international group, "United
Church of Religious Science" (UCRS), one of the largest New Thought
organizations in the world, philosophically related to Unity and organizations
such as the former Living Enrichment Center. PCSA is not a preaching
church. Its teaching is a way of living based on spiritual principles-a
God-centered philosophy that believes that thought creates reality-that
the content of ones consciousness (belief system) creates the
quality of life and that changing thoughts can ultimately change ones
entire experience of life by the activity of God through each of us.
Portland Center for Spiritual Awareness welcomes and honors people
of all faiths.
