Predictions for 2005
Amen-Ra
In the Pacific Northwest, the winter will be cold, windy, with a chance
of sleet, snow and intermittent cold snaps through February. The weather
in the rest of the US will be uneven and unusual - warm, then the next
day the temperatures can drop 30 degrees in one evening. Difficult for
plants and trees that bear fruit...
Oil based economy will be going through major challenges.
There will be uncertainty and volatility in main economic indicators
especially dealing with oil markets. Some financial gains are possible,
but there will be a very slow recovery in the work force. There is a
possibility of a recession. Housing prices will decrease approximately
10% in the coming year.
The war on terror will continue. It produces economic disaster for
America. Many underground groups are coming together to make governmental
changes. Assassination attempt on President Bush fails. There is a Brain
Drain - many able to work by computer are leaving the US for other countries.
In spite of the instability of conditions around the world, there still
is hope. What you think will manifest in a very quick way... Thoughts
really are things. If you fear, or worry, you will always see a picture,
in your mind. When you have a picture in your mind, and you put energy
behind it - it will come to pass. So cancel your negative thoughts,
and put some joy, hope and love into your present world. In spite of
the differences on this planet, take the time and plant a seed of peace,
comfort, joy and abundance, not only for our country, but for the entire
world and its inhabitants.

In the year 2005 humanity will be dealing with the consequences of
earlier choices made on Truth vs illusion, crutch vs strengths. Fear
is gaining power as a blockage to all that is permanent and enduring.
We are indeed the answer to our own questions and CHOICE is the directional
pulse that must be felt once again.
Earth Changes - The cycle of clearing has already begun with
more in store. Mother Earth has absorbed negative imbalanced energies
which no longer are transmutable through her light body and frequency
of vibration. Now we find the return more rapidly than ever of what
we put out. Like Mt.St. Helens, 2005 will find the activation and release
in other long time dormant volcanos. The heating up of Mother Earth's
layers will be acknowledged, but also physical beings will feel eruptions
within themselves or personal relationships in their lives prior to
confirmation of matters changing form.
Oil vs. Alternative Energy - The freedom desired from chaos
and struggle will be had only by going to the natural source supplied
within. Just as oil, must be drilled for deep within earth, humanity
must drill through centuries of ancestral blockages to claim freedom
- not from another but from our self-imposed criticisms and global judgements
- in order to assure abundance and control over fears.
Global & Governmental Economics - Structural Changes. Major
changes in the positions of president and vice president of the United
States. The supposed strength and unity of worldly bodies of power will
begin to crumble on their foundation of falsehood and illusion; the
truth shall prevail where wisdom and intuition become the new touchstones.
It may take tragedy to create the unity of higher community, where judgement
and hatred give way to survival and growth in celebration of those remaining,
giving people the clarity and focus needed to take their power back!
Is it not a repetition of the past for humanity to revolt against their
own self-created limitations of government.
World Hunger - The resources provided by the infinite balance
of Mother Earth in her own body of work will be utilized. Prior to humanity's
arrival, all was distributed evenly and sufficiently. Those who have
hoarded the ample supply will find themselves experiencing the devastation
of power loss. The very substance that they have held onto now no longer
holds them above others but instead they stand out in a time of need,
crushed by the weight of their very own egos. In turn the power will
be taken back by the people cooperating with earth's meridians and ley
lines.
Self Healing - Synthetic drugs and other ingested substances
have begun to lose the effect of balancing the discomfort within the
body's message. The experiences of many, such as loss of time or deja
vu, speak resoundingly of the vibrational increase. Nature is speeding
Herself up to align with the electromagnetic fields of Her own consciousness
and planetary harmony. As the renewal of life continues it is without
the spoken word; the universal language reveals its changes through
action and birth, as revealed in our shifting weather patterns and growth
patterns.
It is not beyond our life time to reclaim our natural state of self
healing. It does however require one to claim our independence from
society and show up in a unified field of higher thinking and dialogue.
Trust in points of clarity and regrouping.

Stockmarket: I believe it will be up significantly in the first
half of the year and then down significantly in the second half.
Funeral: I had a fairly vivid scene of another state funeral ala
Reagan, but it doesn't seem to me to have lots of drama that a funeral
for the president would have.
Economy: I sense some real trouble ahead with even the possibility
of strikes and protests. Revelations of some new upset or scandal
could bring about reprisals. I think interest rates will start
to rise soon and many different forces will come together in a 'perfect
storm' for the economy and it will have a downturn in the second half.
I would also be cautious about real estate. I believe the bloom
is about gone on that rose.
Healthcare: I believe there will be a significant announcement
about a cure for a major disease that will capture the headlines for
days or weeks.
And finally, I ask my main love, the Tarot, what the new year holds
for the US in general, and I draw the Star card, which is "Revelation."
Big news is coming for the country....like it or not. I believe
that news could be quite explosive.

2005 will be the American wake up call to take some personal responsibility.
We must individually make a conscious choice between light and love
or darkness and illusion. America is not only a world leader in economics
and politics, but at this particular time in history, America is destined
to be a world leader in spirituality, but the "lightworkers"
are far outweighed by the number of Americans living a spiritually unconscious
life. The poor and meek are desperate, and the rich and powerful don't
care. The American dream is about to become the American nightmare.
What can you give up, or give back to humanity, before it's too late
- before it is suddenly stripped away from you?

The marker of DNA in men and women who wish to devote their lives to
mankind's betterment will be awakened with the ability to cure cancers
and lift diseases of many kinds. Jesus has a desire for millions to
ask for their innate abilities to heal through the mind and body
by rubbing their palms together in order to build up the power of love
while reducing static electricity. Through the arch of enriched blood,
iron and magnesium shall commence opening the body and mind to
its highest potential.
As Earth itself discovers the markers of DNA opened in those many who
opt to be healers of The Light, amazing abilities shall progress. For
many it means more and more business. It means, in essence, that the
planet is willing to build a network of love while taking apart those
who operate through greed and deceit.
Be prepared for your life in 2005. Ask for the cord of consciousness
that tethers you to a harmonically balanced life, body and soul.

The coming times will be challenging. The forces of chaos are getting
stronger. We are in the majority and the outcome is not in doubt. The
path, however, will be rocky for a while. The way through this time
is by concentrating on goodness - exhibiting it in your contacts with
the community around you. Concentrate on the positive aspects of daily
life and let the beings of light assist you in the period to come. You
have only to call upon them for assistance.
Create a safe place for yourself that will shelter your spirit in the
storm.
Love well and you will have the light to resist darkness.

Astrologers look at 2005
Diana Stone
Looking Forward, Looking Back
There certainly is no lack of powerful themes to play out as Year 2005
unfolds. This follows on the heels of the past year that put itself
on the astrological map as extraordinarily memorable. Lady Venus was
the star attraction held over for one of her longest runs in history.
She danced with Pluto, which called forth our deepest relationship issues.
That meant rough going as many people faced the reality that their partnerships
were not quite as they seemed.
Esoterically, this was the emergence of the Sacred Feminine and the
impact will continue for the coming year. Maybe for the first time in
long earth history the pendulum will not swing back and forth placing
first the matriarchy and then the patriarchy in control. The transition
to equality relationships both individually and collectively will be
a bumpy ride at times.
The great planet Uranus sets out a laundry list of surprising - even
shocking - events for the coming year and beyond. This guy likes changes
of the unexpected and sudden kind. If this is a cycle that touches your
life individually, you may not end up where you planned or expected.
Be alert to synchronicities that alert you to new possibilities.
Uranus is moving through Pisces, a cycle that launched its seven-year
sojourn in that sign in 2003. It partners with Neptune in an unusual
and very rare interaction for the entire period. Pisces is associated
with the intuitive, psychic and spiritual. This is a time for everything
alternative to move much closer to mainstream acceptance. Non-traditional
practitioners will find their star in the ascendancy. One example is
Kepler College in Seattle, WA that graduated its first class of seniors
with fully state accredited degrees in astrology in Fall 2004.
Pisces is also associated with drugs both legal and illegal. Expect
to see a revival of the Sixties but with more maturity. Mainstream psychiatry
and medicine will take a more discerning look at the positive potential
of mind-altering substances. A major Eastern university has already
launched a year-long program using LSD for treating mental illness.
Most people are not aware that LSD was dramatically effective in some
cases when proper protocols were strictly followed. The drug hit the
streets and the government threw the baby out with the bath water. Draconian
drug laws will likely be reexamined including medical use of marijuana.
This cycle is also poised to produce a great leap forward in medical
discoveries in both conventional and natural healthcare. There is always
resistance to new therapies so do not expect to see them available in
traditional doctor's offices just yet. The determined patient can find
it on the ever-explosive information highway - the Internet.
Saturn has not been the most popular influence and it continues its
passage through Cancer until mid-July 2005. The clue to its presence
is the high-profile proliferation of dozens of diets. The Surgeon General
declares obesity as a national health problem. This is a time when we
need to get our acts together in regard to weight control and creating
more effective ways to nurture ourselves.
This cycle is also about resolving long standing psychological and
emotional problems originating with our primary family. When Saturn
moves into Leo in July, we will want to greet the next two-and-a-half-year
career cycle freed up to express our own brand of creativity.

Get ready for a different kind of year. Where
2004 was a year of major energetic shifts, 2005 energies will sift through
personal and planetary consciousness, allowing major changes to settle
into your daily life.
Several planetary factors provide prophetic insight into the New Year.
As described in the Nov. 2004 issue of New Connexion, two spiritual-destiny
points called the Nodes of the Moon started an 18-month journey through
the signs of Aries and Libra. Regardless of your Sun sign, there is
a new set of rules for all types of relationships. Aries tells you that
you must maintain individuality, self-reliance, and independence as
you pioneer a new relationship paradigm. Libra advises that you must
cooperate and compromise without loosing your sense of self. No longer
will you be able to forget or neglect your core essence when merging
into relationships.
As good as this sounds, division is created during early 2005 between
old responsibilities/patterns and this still elusive new relationship
paradigm. Heart-opening help arrives after July when conservative Saturn
exits the emotional quagmire of Cancer, entering courageous Leo.
Expect the latter half of the year to propel your passions in new directions.
Leo is passionate, dramatic, and ready to lead the new way. However,
Saturn advises that something must first be restructured.
On a global level, countries like Israel, Palestine, India, and Pakistan
have a strong Leo emphasis in their national charts. Willingness to
restructure their beliefs and behaviors will bring great rewards. Headstrong
pride will create difficult challenges. The same is true of individuals.
Bill, Hillary, & Chelsea Clinton will be in the news as all have
a strong Leo presence in their charts. President Bush and VP Cheney
will be affected by this Leo energy. Heart-centered leadership will
transform the world. "Do it my way" pride will exact a heavy
saturnine price.
The following hints are 1) for the first six months and 2) for the
second half of 2005. Read your Sun and Rising Sign below:
Aries: 1) Take care of home, family, and emotions; 2) Open to romance,
creativity, and risk-taking
Taurus: 1) Communicate changing values to loved ones so they can prepare
for your changes; 2) Move, remodel, or change the energy where you live.
Gemini: 1) Tend to financial budgets and responsibilities; 2) Travel,
write, or continue your education.
Cancer: 1) Put yourself first and don't feel guilty about it; 2) Manifest
prosperity by taking a risk on exposing your dreams to the real world.
Leo: 1) Meditate and clear psychological clutter; 2) Present your passion
and talents in a highly visible way.
Virgo: 1) Target your work towards the masses; 2) Make sacred time
to balance your private life with public service.
Libra: 1) Polish your public image and project the fullness of your
being to the world; 2) Help friends, groups, and organizations reach
higher goals.
Scorpio: 1) Share the depths of your being through writing, teaching,
or travel; 2) Personal power is expressed in a public way.
Sagittarius: 1) Take time for the intimate and vulnerable side of your
nature, do deep-level releasing; 2) Combine pragmatism and adventure.
Capricorn: 1) Restructure relationships to balance responsibility and
nurturing; 2) Open to abundance without working so hard.
Aquarius: 1) Finish work or healing projects, clean closets; 2) New
partnerships and sharing is a dominant theme.
Pisces: 1) Play early in the year, mixing self-interest with the group
good; 2) Get organized so your high ideals can work in the real world.
Perhaps the best overall advice to help you deal with the shifting
and sifting energy of the year ahead is to begin the year by tending
to home base. Take care of yourself, your home, and your loved ones.
Begin to lay the foundation for change by moving people or activities
out of your life, making space for heart-felt activities next autumn.
