The Feminine Face of God.....Our Divine Mother

During this month of May, the time set aside to honor our Mothers, it is only fitting to shed a greater light on the feminine face of God. God exists within all of life, within people, places and things. And yet there is not only the Father aspect of God, but also the Mother aspect of God. To understand your own Self, your Higher nature, it is vital to understand how the male and female aspects of God operate and exist.

You will not need to venture very far from ordinary human life right here on earth to glean your first clues. As above, so below. It is the law of the Universe. When you start to look through life for its deeper meaning and purpose then do you begin to reach into the vastness of it. Then do you begin to see the bigger picture through the eyes of your Grander Self, with greater "inner sight".

Everything is cyclical. The tides ebb and flow; the seasons change with exact precision; everything that rises, must also fall. You have an in breath and an out breath. There is a natural rhythm and order to the Universe. So what does this have to do with our Father and Mother God? Everything! The Father aspect of God is about expansion. The Father wants to joyfully give and give. The Mother aspect of God is about contraction, restriction, focus, holding back. So when you sit on the seashore and watch the waves roll in, this is the face of the Father. And as the waves recede, this is the face of the Mother.

As the moon wanes, decreasing in light and approaching the day of the new moon, this is a time of contraction, as Mother draws closer to Father. During this cycle is the time to go within, to be subjective. This is not the time to start new projects. If you do, you go against the natural rhythm of life, and surely will set yourself up for the difficulty of the project, if not the total failure of it. This is not a time to be signing contracts or initiating anything. The last three days of the waning moon, are also known as the dark of the moon. Anything initiated here will fail. This period is the most powerful time to banish and clean house, and I mean clean spiritually, mentally, emotionally, not only physically.

Each month on the new moon we begin anew. This is when Father and Mother God are one. Mother (the moon) has no light of Her own. On this day She begins to drink of Father’s light, knowledge, ideas. The seed of Father’s Will, His ideas, His inspirations are planted in Her womb on this day. While She waxes and increases in size, this is the time to be objective, extroverted, to set about nurturing what has been planted on the new moon. Here you sign your contracts. All rhythms are on an upswing, now is the time of expansion, of initiating the projects planted. All of this activity is to culminate at the celebration of the full moon, when Mother is filled to the brim with Father’s light and ideas. Father is pure idea, and Mother sets about bringing all to fruition.

This exquisite dance takes place between Father and Mother God every single month, and whether we realize it or not, it is taking place within ourselves also. These are the natural rhythms of life. The Mother is the one that Father listens to about the timing and manifesting of your heart's desires. Just like a mother in a family. She cares for you, and out of great wisdom does not give you everything you want, when you want it. She it is who opens the doors of manifestation. She it is who is matter (Mother). She it is who is all manifested reality.

When you are feeling constrained, restricted, held back, it is the Mother aspect of God, in all Her glorious wisdom, holding you back. She says to the Father, "No, not yet. It is not yet time to fulfill this desire of our child. He/she must grow yet fuller, the time is not now." The Father, in His great love and adoration of the Mother, listens.

So you see you must approach, understand and be on very good terms with your Mother God. She rules the cycles of life, so learn to honor them, thus you honor Her. Call to Her and develop your relationship with Her, for nothing is made manifest except through Her. Matter equals Mother. She, by the way, is the rising force on this planet. A Golden Age is in the process of being birthed. A life filled with Her beauty, sweetness, grace, kindness, peace and profound love. As we awake and become more of Her, we assist in the birth of this New Race and Age. She smiles sweetly, with open arms and eternal patience awaiting your return home.
