Venus Crosses the Sun - A Rare Event
Are You Restless Yet?

Have you been feeling like you are ready for something new? If so, you don’t simply have a case of Spring Fever. "Queen of Heaven" Venus is about to do something that no living person has ever seen, and she will do it again at the end of the Mayan calendar in 2012.

Brightly shining Venus, often mistaken for a UFO since ancient times, is energizing you during May and June. Perhaps this other worldly vision is symbolic of something larger in your life. Since last November’s Harmonic Concordance (a six-pointed planetary Star of David configuration), you may have experienced a shift in consciousness relating to your values and desires. Love & money Venus provides a two-stage activation platform to help you bring this subconscious longing into your awakened life.

The first stage begins on May 17th, just before the Taurus New Moon. Venus begins her six-week retrograde cycle in the intellectually restless sign of Gemini. Between now and June 29th, you will be reviewing Venus-related activities such as romantic desires, partnership support or lack thereof, real estate, art, and social gatherings.

Relationships that have not been working will be repaired or released. Those who have not been in relationship will reassert their availability by joining social gatherings. Cosmetic repair to property is likely to occur under this influence. Like a butterfly in a field of fresh flowers, it is time explore a wide variety of new possibilities.

Because this activity is going on in mentally active Gemini, many people are going to be on the move. This includes travel, relocation, and participating in new social activities. Be aware that talk is cheap and abundant under the Gemini influence, so practice discernment in your listening skills (that is, if anyone is actually listening!)

The second stage of Venus is its rare pass across the face of the Sun on June 8th. This has not been seen since 1882, and it will be repeated in June of 2012. Because this coincides with the end of the Mayan calendar, be open to prophetic visions about your path for the coming eight years.

Many cultures, such as the Hopi and their Blue Kachina prophecy, believe that the times of major shifts of consciousness, and resulting earth changes, are upon us now. Perhaps the tie-in of Harmonic Concordance and this special Venus transit of the Sun are the key to a more enlightened reality for both your personal life and the world.

Look at your Sun and Rising signs below to get hints about where Venus is stimulating you:

Aries: Education and short trips will open your mind to an abundance of new possibilities.

Taurus: Moving, purchase of real estate, and new ideas on how to manifest money are in play.

Gemini: Physical appearance, exercise, and taking a new you to the world begins under this Venus cycle.

Cancer: Your work is behind the scenes including cleaning your emotional closet and enhancing intuitive abilities. Release the past to improve the future.

Leo: Mentor friends, groups, and organizations into passionate and creative manifestation of their goals. Open your heart to strangers.

Virgo: Enhance public image by sharing your talents in a highly visible way. Make promotional appearances, teach new classes, and express yourself outwardly.

Libra: Travel, relocation, education, opening to new philosophies, and changing your belief system is in the air.

Scorpio: Bring those deepest fears and intimacies to the surface for rejuvenation. Share your healing abilities and forgive old hurts.

Sagittarius: Romantic and business partnership involvements are changing. Your naturally restless nature needs to change stale patterns surrounding sharing.

Capricorn: Work, health, healing, and simplifying your life are your tasks for Spring. Stretch your mind and body.

Aquarius: Work with children, have a romantic spring fling without expectations, and play, play, play.

Pisces: Your home world is about to change. This can include remodeling, moving, or changing your ideas/ideals about what you need to nurture yourself.

Everyone will have the desire for change. Either you or several of your friends will move to a distant location by autumn. Relationship dynamics will shift before expansive Jupiter enters romantic Libra in September. Begin now to make the needed changes in your life.
