Touched By an Archangel - a chat with Ronna Herman

Ronna Herman is one of the most highly respected channels on the book and lecture circuit today. For the past 12 years she has devoted herself to spreading the messages and teachings of Archangel Michael around the world. She will be in Portland on March 27, 2004 to give a workshop before heading off to Europe and the Far East.

How did it all happen? After retiring from the corporate world in 1982, Ronna Herman was at a turning point in her life. She and her husband had everything; but the country clubs and the travel had palled, and a divine discontent settled on her. She started looking for things to do and was led to a group that shared a deep intense yearning to learn. She read everything she could get her hands on. For no reason she could understand, she was drawn into a "dark night of the soul." She was miserable and started having health problems. She remembers the turning point when, with tears in her eye, she symbolically held her soul in her hands and said, "Here God, what do you want me to do?" Literally a voice boomed in her head and said, "Well, it’s about time! We’ve been waiting for you to get your ego out of the way so we can begin to work with you!" An entity calling itself Tri-ton became her teacher, preparing her over several years to accept a higher energy to come.

When it did come, an enormous energy squeezed into her body and announced that it was the Archangel Michael, and that she had promised to become his messenger for these times of great change. Ronna gradually adjusted to his energy, and now all she does is put her hands over the computer and AA Michael takes over her hands and types at over 100 words per minute; the messages come out in perfect copy. At her seminars she voice channels, and has to stand to accommodate the powerful energy.

This extraordinarily vibrant 76 year old has channeled three books and authored four more, including her trilogy, Once Upon a New World.

When asked what the messages are about, Ronna answered, "Michael covers everything, from our ancient past, our universal cosmic beginnings, why we are here, the Grand Experiment on planet Earth, and why it is so important; this transition of the ages – why it is happening and what’s happening to us. I am a sage and a philosopher, and therefore he works through me that way. He works through the personality of a person. There are a lot of people who channel the different masters, and who channel Archangel Michael. He said ‘there are as many ways to channel my energy as there are facets of my being.’ But I still don’t know how I do it. The wisdom that comes through – no way do I have it in my memory bank; no way!"

Ronna does feel a difference in energy when she is channeling before a group. When she gives an individual reading, she likens it to bringing in 5,000 watts of energy. When she does it for a group, it’s like bringing in 50,000 watts. She moves her consciousness to her right shoulder, as the observer, and sees through her eyes, like through a golden haze. She is not really a trance channel. She is aware, but like in a dream state – probably a theta state.

We all seem to be downloading a higher level of energy just now, Ronna says, and things will be a little out of synch until we integrate it. AA Michael talks about being very aware of the senses and what’s happening. He seems to have a very practical bent. His teachings are very much "How to"s They are wonderful methods and techniques on how to breathe, how to build a pyramid of light in the fifth dimension so we can go directly to that primal, life force substance and begin to mold what it is we want to create in our world. He takes us through the universal Laws of Manifestation, and offers ways and tools to really begin to take control of your life and bring it all very quickly into balance.

These tools are all described in a new workbook about to be released called "Scripting Your Destiny." It has the condensed teaching tools from all three books.

In relation to the upcoming elections, Michael said that when we as a nation are ready for a true spiritual leader, we will get one. He always says that you do not have to like or approve of the person, but you have to honor whoever takes on these tasks. Whether Clinton or Bush, it was their soul level agreement to bring forth certain issues to the light. Ronna does not buy into the negativity. As Michael says, the light and the shadow are necessary and out of chaos comes new creation. Ronna thinks that we will have real challenges and rude awakenings in the next few years, but she sees real good coming out of that. It almost doesn’t matter who gets elected; the scenario is going to be played out the way it’s supposed to be.

"One of the greatest things Michael told us" Ronna says, "is to breathe in light and breathe out love. It’s the way you should pray. In other words instead of praying for us to win the war in Iraq, you should ask for the highest good for all concerned, for the earth and humanity. In doing this, you are aligning with the Creator will rather than playing God. When the lightworkers align their will with the Creator energy, that gives them power to use this energy for the greatest good. Michael also says, ‘If you don’t do anything else but bring in the maximum of light that you can contain and radiate that love light out to humanity and to that force field around you, it is enough.’"
