Peeking through the Veils of 2004
Preparing for Mayan 2012 transformations!

What is to come on June 8th, 2004 is going to happen again near the 2012 completion of the Mayan calendar. The transit of Venus across the disk of the Sun in the year ahead is amongst the rarest of planetary alignments, most recently occurring in 1882. On June 8th, and again in 2012, the goddess of desire will journey across the blazing face of the Sun.

Venus is associated with war & peace, love & art, and money & real estate. Body areas to heal include the throat and kidneys. Stay particularly aware of changing relationships, changing desires, and changing values. This is as true in your personal life as it is for geopolitical alliances.

The Sun energizes everything it touches. Venus gently helps you receive her gifts. If you are aligned with Truth, abundance in the aforementioned areas is offered to your outstretched arms. However, if you fly too close to the Sun and get caught in the glamour of material prosperity and sensuality, you are likely to learn the same lesson as Icarus whose wings melted when flying too close to the sun.

To gain meaning about this cosmic event, it is necessary to transcend linear time. Consciousness-crystallizing Uranus is entering the sign that goes beyond the veils of time, Pisces. Perspective on the concept of time will begin to shift radically in the year ahead.

Quantum physics will increase in mundane practicality. For example: Instead of viewing events as dots along a linear time graph, the quantum perspective states that the Harmonic Convergence (Aug. 1987), the Harmonic Concordance (Nov. 8/9, 2003), Venus transiting the Sun (6/8/04; 6/6/12), and the completion of the Mayan calendar in Dec. 2012 all occur simultaneously.

All of these events are linked, not only because all life is from One Source; but also because they are related to the number 13 (from the philosophy of the feminine aspect of Jesus known as Sananda, number of annual lunar cycles, Greg Braden’s ideas on changing earth frequencies, and other reasons omitted due to space limitations). Your thoughts, actions, and behavior patterns in the coming year directly affect the outcome in 2012, and quantum physics also suggests that it can alter your past.

Here are some hints as to how you can use the auspicious April 4th through August 8th time period to commit yourself to the next step of your soul path. Remember that while predictions for the New Year can help you prepare for the new energies, you have the free will to create your own reality.

Sun sign or Ascendant in Gemini, Libra, and/or Aquarius: You receive help in meeting people who can help you advance your vision. Enhanced communications and improved relationships will do more for you than all the hard work you put in behind the scenes (but don’t ignore the hard work!).

Sun sign or Ascendant in Aries, Leo, and/or Sagittarius: Take a risk on yourself and your philosophical beliefs in order to gain from this auspicious planetary event. You cannot wait for someone else to step up to the proverbial plate; it is your turn.

Sun sign or Ascendant is in Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces: Understand that you may have a slightly more difficult time with this transition. Your emotions and intuition are being heavily restructured and inappropriate energy for the new you is being ripped away. The beauty is that you will be more highly in tune with subtle vibrational shifts than your friends when all is said and done.

Sun sign or Ascendant in Taurus, Virgo, or Capricorn: You must pick up the pace in the year ahead. Certainly there is a time for methodical, slow-but-sure plans of action- just not this year! A faster pace may not bring the immediate material rewards you tend to expect. But like a country-western dance (one step back, two steps forward), you will have an entirely new life by the end of 2004.

In 2004, you are being called to step into a higher expression of your soul.

The year ahead calls you to release fears surrounding the Venus-related issues listed above. Are you allowing poverty consciousness to stop you from that work and/or play that has been calling to you? Are you waiting for the Universe to prove to you that the ideal relationship or the new business venture will be a success?
