Saturn Enters Cancer
Emotions, Emotions, Emotions!

Most people run for cover when they hear that a significant Saturn transit is approaching. But, Saturn is your friend. Really!

On June 3^rd, the cold planet representing boundaries, obstacles, and restrictions enters warm-and-fuzzy Cancer. Imagine a raging river of emotions reaching a giant hydroelectric dam. The merging point can be tumultuous, but the result can be a powerful form of energy channeled for the good of humanity.

Saturn in Cancer until July 2005 advises you to first tend to personal emotional needs. If you have been stifling your emotions, get ready for a flood. Have you been working too hard? Have you been saying yes when your spirit begs you to say no? Well, taskmaster Saturn is about to restructure your approach to the world.

Do not think that this gives you permission to run away from your responsibilities. The wise elder helps you separate that which is yours to do from that which is not. This is why Saturn has been called the Great Crystallizer.

All of your best rationalizations about the cause of your current life circumstances are shattered by Truth. Ice-queen Saturn tells you that you created your own reality, and only you can change it. Self-nurturing is the key to restructuring the changing tide of emotions coming into your life.

What do you need to change in order to feel better? Diet, living conditions, and the space to express your emotions are the starting place. Your "little" mind is probably telling you that this sounds nice, but you don’t have the time (Saturn rules time). Your "God-centered" mind knows that time invested to enhance the quality of your soul vibration has more dynamic impact than your quantity of activity.

On a global level, compassion is stimulated to help starving children, drought and flood victims, and those who struggle with issues of freedom vs. perceived security (i.e. Department of Homeland Security). Weather issues of blowing dirt, floods, mudslides, and water levels will be in the news. The housing market will be restructured to bring overvalued properties into perspective. The already battered fishing industry will experience further restrictions. Regardless of the challenges presented by Saturn, there are always rewards for a job well done.

Sagittarius: Issues surrounding the highest philosophy of sex, death, and taxes come to the forefront of your life. You may help someone through his or her grief.

Capricorn: Your task is to open your heart to express healthy emotions in areas of marriage, relationships, and cooperation. Ready or not, feelings come to the surface.

Aquarius: Healing abilities increase as you help others to bring intangible feelings to the surface for release. Bring home an unusual pet.

Pisces: Be compassionate with children, open to romance, and take a risk on your creativity. Teach the world to play.

Aries: Tend to your personal emotional needs rather than racing out to help the rest of the world. Be patient; your time to help the world will come after you heal your emotional body.

Taurus: Communicate a higher set of values to the world. It may be time to teach or write that book that has been calling to you.

Gemini: Overcome fears surrounding prosperity by opening your mind to a vast and abundant Universe. Is it time for a move?
