What is Energy Shifting or Space Clearing

My journey with Energy Clearing began as a small child of about 5 years old. My father, who was Cherokee, was a pilot in the USAF. Mom was a housewife, artist, cook and teacher with five little ones. We moved often when I was growing up and this is when my education of energy clearing began. One day, as the moving van was pulling away from our home in Tucson, Arizona, I noticed my mother tossing salt around the house. "What are you doing?" I asked. She handed me a container of salt and said, "Help me spread this through out the house, especially in the corners." "Why?" I asked. "Because we want to leave the house clean for the people who come here after us." Over the years we salted and smudged many homes, hotels and even moving vans. My curiosity and knowledge of the process began to grow. As an adult, I continued my studies and began a practice of space clearing. As my learning and experience progressed, so did my sensitivity to other energy forms, such as ghosts, entities, thought forms and nature spirits.

What is Energy Clearing anyway? It is said that every living thing on the planet has a unique vibration. People who are sensitive or are trained through spiritual practice can identify these vibrations of different people, places, things and emotions. Energy Clearing is basically energetic house keeping. The energy of those who previously owned or lived in the space is impregnated into the very fiber of that space. If we spend a lot of time around people or places that carry negative energy or vibration we may acquire these properties and our lives are affected by them. You might move into a home where the people before you went through a divorce and before you know it you will begin to pick up the energy of this and start to have hard times in your own relationship. Once this happens our own spiritual vibration may suffer. Energy clearing will remove these unwanted vibrations and restore our own. Just as we wash our hands of dirt, so to can we wash ourselves and environments of unwanted vibrations.

We have all walked into homes and business and felt like we wanted to leave or were immediately uncomfortable, you might even feel flu like symptoms in places or like there is someone watching you. We sometimes decide not to buy or rent homes and apartments because we don’t like the way they "feel", these are all reasons that we need energy clearing in our lives. Removing these unwanted vibrations, ghosts, thought forms or emotions is what energy clearing is all about.

In my many years of energy clearing I have encountered all kinds of energies including those of anger, violence, divorce, grief, sadness death and the negative effects from electro-magnetic fields, ghosts, etheric patterns, nature spirits and thought forms.

When I begin working with a client, we begin by researching the history of the home, business and site. As history tends to repeat itself, what has occurred on a site will occur on the site again unless the path is cleared. For example, the Denver Airport, which has problems since it was built, was built on the site of a Native American burial ground. They are now asking Native American elders to come and clear the site and help eliminate the problems. Chernobyl was built on the site of an orphanage that was bombed during the Second World War, killing at least 40 children. Children were the worst victims of the disaster at Chernobyl. Ghosts are souls or spirits trapped on the earth. You might feel them as a cold spot or as if someone is watching you. Some people even see the presence of a ghost. Residual energies, different from ghosts, are psychic disturbances that can be created by strong thoughts and feelings. They can be experienced like an image that is left in the ether, an image of an event that occurred in a particular spot. Residual energies are not actually souls; they can be left by a death, suicide, arguments, deep depression or any other strong emotion.

Energy Clearing is a very effective way of clearing this energy out to leave you with a completely fresh start. Freshening and revitalizing your home or business has a corresponding effect on the environment in which you live or work.

Energy clearing is an integral part of religious rituals. Rituals appeal to our emotions and we feel good after we have been apart of them. Ceremony is a sacred dance, the process that we use to connect ourselves with spirit and ask for what we want. It is the practice of opposites, happy and sad, light and heavy. It is always different and always alive. The sacred is made to come alive and we call to the spirits and angels, to our ancestors, Grandmothers and Grandfathers and they are welcomed through the visible and invisible. We connect with the sacred, to the spirit of all eternity and ask for what is needed, healing, guidance, relationships, and help. The spirits hear us and bless us.
