Planets Promote Prosperity This Spring

March and April are quite likely to be the most productive, high-effort months this year. But don’t let all the work weigh you down because the planets do promise more passion, fun, and creativity by Fall. However, you will have to check out future issues of New Connexions Journal to hear about that.

For the time being, you will greatly benefit by putting your nose to the proverbial grindstone. The first half of March is especially auspicious for initiating new projects. It is the only time all year that all of the planets are moving in a “breaking new ground” forward motion. Before March 20th, initiate projects that will create tangible results.

Ambitious, over-achieving Mars and luxury-loving Venus travel through materially minded Taurus during March and April. The sign of the bull teaches people about true prosperity consciousness. You must look at how you are investing your energy vs. the reward returned on that investment.

On a spiritual level, Taurus represents manifesting beauty and the highest values in the world. You are stimulated to choose what you value in your life; then, take an action to manifest your values in the material world. Look within to see how you are holding yourself back from expressing the unlimited Universal abundance that is divinely yours to experience. You are called to bring forth that beautiful, trust-in-the-Universe part of yourself to make your desires a reality.

You have the opportunity to unearth the negative beliefs and behaviors that you carry like a badge of courage, preventing you from being in the naturally prosperous flow of life. Metaphysically inclined people may want to look at past life agreements like religious vows of poverty, or beliefs that say “poor but spiritually worthy.” Consider how fears may be blocking the limitless Universal flow of abundance in your life.

 Whatever your philosophy, this spring’s planetary energies help you to open your prosperity consciousness. You simply need to get out of your own way.

In fact, Vernal Equinox (March 20, 11:16 AM PST) has generous and optimistic Jupiter charging out into your world to give you a greater sense of nurturing. For those with knowledge of astrology, Jupiter is aligned with the Cancer Rising Sign of an astrology chart cast for the equinox. Non-astrologers need to know that this is a really good thing!

As we move through April and into early May, romantic Venus, warrior Mars, and work-for-the-long-term Saturn combine in the talkative sign of Gemini. This is an indication that all of your constructive effort in March is communicated to the world during April and May. You are driven to share your ideas, shake a few hands, and open to new possibilities. You are likely to increase your movement and communications, be it through short trips, increased telephone calls, or classes.

In sum, expansive ideas combine with practical, constructive effort to help you manifest your highest values in a down-to-earth, prosperous way. Read your Sun sign (and Rising sign) to better understand where extra effort will pay increased dividends:

Aries: Improve your real estate, tangible resources, and pioneer new ways to put your philosophy into the world.

Taurus: Enhance your self-identity, self-esteem, and express your individuality to increase your prosperity. Work with people one-on-one.

Gemini:. Intuitive development will help you tune into your best path. Do research or work behind-the-scenes.

Cancer: Opportunities come through groups, friends, and organizations. Reassess your goals and meet new people.

Leo: Improve your public image by allowing your light to shine brightly. It may be time for new brochures, photos, or business cards.

Virgo: Philosophy, travel, foreign cultures, and education all present opportunities for expansion.

Libra: Working with other peoples’ money/resources, investments, or cooperative ventures all produce tangible results.

Scorpio: It is time to open up that private nature and share with others – not a time to go it alone!

Sagittarius: Simplify your life – have a garage sale or provide some humble service that will lighten the burden of others to increase your prosperity.

Capricorn: Pragmatic creativity is the key phrase for your prosperity this Spring. Make something and sell it, work with children, or take a conservative risk on yourself.

Aquarius: It is not just those innovative ideas you have that will improve your prosperity; it is those ideas that truly nurture your spirit that will pay off. It has to feel good emotionally to keep your attention at this time.

Pisces: Writing, teaching/taking short classes, quick trips, and opening your visionary abilities to new ideas will help you improve your stature in life.
