Planetary Wake Up Call for the Holidays

There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that there has been an energy shift during the past several months. Sleeping Light Workers everywhere have been stimulated to awaken due to recent global events.

Basic metaphysical principles advise that outer world conditions are a reflection of your inner world. J. Krishnamurti eloquently stated, “What you are, the world is. And without your transformation, there can be no transformation of the world.”

In astrology, the planets reflect this transformational change. In the summer issue of New Connexion, this column discussed the challenging opposition of structure-changing Saturn and devastatingly transformative Pluto. This tug-of-war between worldly power and spiritual truth occurs from August 2001 through May 2002. The cycle represents the release of antiquated ideas, lower-order philosophies, and illusions.

The purpose is to catalyze you to expand your understanding of the Universe, thereby realigning your priorities to be in harmony with the Highest Truth. You must release beliefs, people, and aspects of your life that are not in harmony with the new frequency of vibration on planet earth.

Two significant eclipses (although minor to scientific-minded astronomers) in December serve to shift you into a heightened state of consciousness. The Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius on December 14^th activates the new energy. A Lunar Eclipse on December 30^th represents the release of the old.

Beginning with the old, the Cancer-Capricorn lunar eclipse (full moon) will be visible in the western USA around 2:30 AM PST. Cancer is highly emotional, sentimental, and focused on family/community. Because the USA is a Cancer Sun sign, and due to the tragic loss of life experienced this past autumn, you can expect a few tears to fall at the annual New Year’s Eve morning world peace meditations.

On a personal level, you will be drawn to your emotional roots to do healing of family, relationship, and other sensitive issues of your life. It is important to allow yourself to experience and heal the hurt child within throughout December. Ceremonies and conversations to release the past are critical now, because we have already taken two steps into the incoming planetary energies.

The first step on October 12^th may have been more of a prophetic feeling than a conscious awakening. The nodes of the moon quietly shifted into the signs Gemini and Sagittarius. These sensitive mathematical points represent your past and future direction, or karma and dharma. During the next 1½-years, you must open to the highest Sagittarian philosophical ideals of spiritual Truth. Then- you must use Gemini’s communications abilities to share Truth in a way that everyone can understand.

No longer will you be able to conceal the Highest Truth, hiding behind words that say only what you think the people in your environment want to hear. Sagittarius has no time, nor does planet earth, to stay safe in superficial conversation. At the same time, you must not use the annoying Sagittarius tendency to force-feed Truth to those who are not ready to hear it.

This is especially visible at the December 14^th Sagittarius New Moon, Solar Eclipse. The eclipse path begins near Hawaii and passes through Central America. Expect media reports on activity under the path of this eclipse.

A new moon represents new beginnings. A solar eclipse drives you to the inner core of your spirit for deep-level introspection. The purpose is to bring forth the mission your soul has incarnated to accomplish.

Sagittarius requires honesty, integrity, and the willingness to place yourself on the line for Truth. At the depths of your being, no matter how eclipsed they have become in this busy life, you know the purpose you came to accomplish. It is encoded in your cellular memory. This Solar Eclipse, and those to follow in the next 1½ years, will call that purpose to the surface at greater levels than you have yet to experience. Your inner yearning to express your Divine Essence is now called into action. This time-period is the beginning of why you volunteered to serve on planet earth- be joyful!

If you are a Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, or Pisces, hold on tightly. Better still; let go and let God! Cancer, Capricorn, Libra, and Aries are learning better ways to do relationship this holiday season. Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, and Aquarius need to practice flowing with the ongoing changes – as in, learning to surf the waves of energy that are constantly shifting through their lives.

For everyone, the planetary energy shifts of the last quarter of 2001 will have long-range effects. Although outer world events are self-evident, the true transformation is going on within. You are awakening to greater levels of understanding about who you are at the core of your spirit. It is time to speak your Truth.

 Now is the time to openly operate as the Light Worker that you inwardly know you already are. Stand strong, knowing that you are not alone as you step into higher levels of service on planet earth.
