The term "Blue Moon" refers to the second Full Moon in a single month. The above picture is of our Moon taken was taken in a dark blue morning sky. The bright crescent is the only part directly exposed to sunlight - the rest of the Moon glows from sunlight reflected from the Earth. In this dramatic photo, however, the planet Jupiter is also visible along with its four largest moons.
Wild and Crazy” is likely to be the theme to the extreme this Halloween, Wednesday October 31st . There is a special Full Moon at 9:41 PM called a Blue Moon. The term refers to the rare occurrence (about every 2½ years) when there are two full moons in a month, hence, the phrase, “once in a blue moon.” Although there is some question as to the origins of the phrase, folklore suggests that the ash from the 1883 eruption of the Indonesian volcano Krakatoa made the moon appear blue. This Halloween, the planet Uranus is highly active. In astrology, Uranus represents eccentricity, revolutions, freedom, friendships, astrology, computers, and letting your whacko side out for everyone to see. People who fall in love tonight are as likely to fall out of love tomorrow. Use extra caution on the road and with electrical equipment between Oct. 26th  and Nov. 3rd. But most of all, free yourself of inhibitions and limitations by exploring healthy and constructive new possibilities. Uranus can bring sudden and unexpected miracles into your life. Enjoy!
